Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of post secondary education coupled with Refrigeration License (HVAC)
Experience: Candidates should have minimum five years experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should own tools and safety boots and capable of working outdoors in all types of weather conditions
• The candidates should be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting weights of up to 23kg, working at heights of up to 106m, frequent standing, walking, twisting, reaching, bending, crawling, and using ladders
• The candidates should be able to work shifts, weekends, and holidays

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should possess Gas Fitter level Two certification, a valid Ontario driver’s license and Gas Fitter level One certification
• The candidates should have past experience in a diverse and comparable environment and possess a strong mechanical aptitude
• The candidates should have proven skills with food service equipment installation and repairs and demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and oral
• The candidates should demonstrate proven abilities to problem solve, troubleshoot, and work with deadlines

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assist with the installation of new equipment and maintain all required service records and logs
• The candidates should be able to assist with the rebuild and repair of equipment as specified and assist with seasonal staff as required
• The candidates should be able to make recommendations for improvements, modifications, upgrades, and report findings to the Supervisor on a timely basis
• The candidates should be able to ensure the safe operation of each work area and each work project
• The candidates should be able to assist with general cleaning, inspection, and reassemble equipment and assist with major overhauls, modifications, and alterations
• The candidates should be able to be responsible for the execution of the preventative maintenance program
