Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of High School Diploma
Experience: Candidates should have minimum 5 years work experience in the skilled trades

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be capable of performing some level of cost analysis and working within a structured budget
  • The candidates should have the ability to write detailed repair reports
  • The candidates should be able to develop and deliver clear and concise presentations
  • The candidates should be able to read and interpret vendor manuals and drawings effectively
  • The candidates should be capable of efficiently performing internet searches and research

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be proficient in EAM/CMMS (Enterprise Asset Management or Computerized Maintenance Management System) and FIORI
  • The candidates should have proficiency in Spreadsheet and Word Processing software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • The candidates should be familiar with Project Management Software such as MS Project, Primavera, S.A.P
  • The candidates should be adept at using Email for communication purposes
  • The candidates should have experience with VISIO, SharePoint, OneDrive, OneNote and some level of supervisory
  • The candidates should possess strong communication skills to interact clearly and effectively with shop floor personnel, vendors, OEM suppliers, and management personnel
  • The candidates should have Shaft Maintenance experience
  • The candidates should have a background in Light Vehicle Maintenance
  • The candidates should have Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • The candidates should possess a strong mechanical or electrical aptitude
  • The candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to use Industry Planning and Scheduling methods effectively and help improve workforce safety and work effectively with the execution team (Supervisors and Lead hands
  • The candidate should be able to deliver and schedule quality work orders by Anticipating and eliminating potential delays and Coordinating labor, parts, materials, specialized tooling, and specialized equipment
  • The candidate should be able to manage maintenance data collection and information gathering to more effectively provide planned maintenance service in the future and maximize equipment reliability through the effective use of planned maintenance
  • The candidate should be able to be responsible for the initial screening of incoming work orders, identification of scope, and analysis of required level of planning
  • The candidate should be able to conduct field walk-downs to identify and document job requirements and maintain Maintenance Plans, Equipment BOMs, and Equipment Task lists in SAP
  • The candidate should be able to identify specific safety hazards that will be encountered in the performance of the proposed work and estimate required hours on work order tasks, total work order duration, and skills required to perform the task
  • The candidate should be able to plan and schedule jobs with the appropriate level of detail for the given skilled trades workforce and procure equipment, parts, and specialized tools to perform work
  • The candidate should be able to ensure safety procedures, including lock-out or tag-out procedures, are available to employees and create a valid and accurate weekly maintenance schedule for all mobile or fixed equipment under the Mobile Department’s care
  • The candidate should be able to ensure that all aspects of the existing company safety policy are incorporated into job plans and work safely and be proactive towards safety issues regarding themselves and other co-workers
  • The candidate should be able to report all safety-related concerns to their supervisor and attend daily morning line-up meetings and monthly safety meetings
