Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform visual inspections of their work area
- The candidates should be able to conduct equipment pre-op check and greasing
- The candidates should be able to maintain plant housekeeping, including shoveling and hosing
- The candidates should be able to clean jaw crusher grease during the day shift
- The candidates should be able to perform grass cutting and yard clean up
- The candidates should be able to paint handrails, guards, and pipes
- The candidates should be able to perform all other duties assigned by operation supervisors
- The candidates should be able to work and ensure all workers work in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Regulations for Mines and Mining Plants, and all other applicable government standards and regulations
- The candidates should be able to comply with and participate in the continuous improvement of all safety and environmental policies and procedures
- The candidates should be able to actively participate and encourage others to participate in the Internal Responsibility System and the Five Point Safety System
