Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have availability to attend and successfully pass a five (5) to seven (7) weeks full-time paid training program
- The candidates should have availability to work rotating shift patterns over a 24-hour period, including weekends and holidays
- The candidates should have the ability to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations, as per Transport Canada regulations
- The candidates should be safety and security conscious and strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team on a daily basis
- The candidates should have eligibility to work in Canada and the ability to lift 70 lbs repetitively
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a valid driver’s license, as driving heavy equipment on the airside
- The candidates should be able to pass a medical evaluation, including a drug and alcohol test
