Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a Bachelor’s degree or diploma with a focus in Human Resources Management
Experience: Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of experience with full cycle recruitment

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate resourcefulness, problem-solving, and analytical and proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
  • The candidates should have strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and accomplish tasks, projects, and goals efficiently
  • The candidates should be available for a 4 days on/3 days off rotation (Monday-Thursday) at the mine site and work for prolonged periods at a desk, using a computer

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience in the mining or related industry and experience using an Applicant Tracking System
  • The candidates should have a good understanding of HR practices and be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • The candidates should have strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills and demonstrate a professional attitude and well-developed interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should have attention to detail and strong process management skills and demonstrate critical thinking and decision-making skills

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to source and recruit candidates using various platforms, including databases and social media and screen resumes and job applications to identify potential candidates
  • The candidates should be able to conduct interviews using reliable recruitment tools and methods to assess candidates’ qualifications
  • The candidates should be able to evaluate applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
  • The candidates should be able to develop and update job descriptions and specifications to reflect the needs of the organization
  • The candidates should be able to prepare recruitment materials and post job openings to appropriate job boards, colleges, and other platforms and manage the applicant tracking system to ensure efficient recruitment processes
  • The candidates should be able to onboard new employees, ensuring they are fully integrated into the company culture and monitor and apply HR best practices in recruitment to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • The candidates should be able to provide analytical, well-documented reports on recruiting activities and metrics to the team and act as a point of contact, building strong candidate relationships throughout the hiring process
  • The candidates should be able to lead and attend recruitment events, such as job fairs and trade shows, to attract potential candidates and perform additional duties as required to support the HR department’s strategic objective
