Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail and work in a fast-paced environment
• The candidates should be able to manage a large workload and perform physically demanding tasks

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be accurate, focus on clients, show flexibility, take initiative, exercise good judgment, stay organized, and be reliable
• The candidate should be a team player, manage time effectively, and demonstrate dependability

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to monitor patients and advise physician of any changes in patients’ condition and address and document symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions
• The candidates should be able to assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families
• The candidates should be able to conduct disease screening and operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment
• The candidates should be able to provide nursing care and supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
