Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of University degree
Experience: Candidates should have 6+ years of experience in QA as a tester, test lead or test manager

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a relevant technical certification, and relevant experience commensurate to the role and ITIL v.3 or v.4 foundational level or higher and experience with test automation frameworks and solutioning and improving quality frameworks
  • The candidates should possess strong knowledge of SQL scripting and data validation techniques and automation exposure and experience with JMeter, with a detailed understanding of APIs, HTTP, XML, SOAP, EJB synchronous communication, JMS messages, and JSON
  • The candidates should demonstrate expertise in QA tools and techniques, bug tracking systems, source control, test case design and automation, Agile and Waterfall methodologies and experience with Enterprise systems such as JIRA, Confluence; Azure; DevOps
  • The candidates should have a strong foundation in systems testing and software QA best practices, methodologies, and techniques encompassing the full build, test, and deploy cycle and ISTQB foundational level or higher certification and demonstrate significant technical depth to balance tactical and strategic priorities and airline domain knowledge
  • The candidates should be team players, well-organized, and efficient with excellent judgment and decision-making skills and ability to quickly learn and become familiar with the software product being tested, with the ability to understand the business domain and customers’
  • The candidates should be eligible to work in the country of interest, and any required work permits or visas or other authorizations are the sole responsibility of the candidates applying for this position and solid writing and communication skills are required, with the ability to clearly articulate verbally

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate test progression, defect status reports, and operational performance to internal and external stakeholders and ensure the creation and maintenance of test cases and scripts, test plans, test metrics, defect metrics, and review the design and efficacy of test cases and scripts
  • The candidates should be able to consolidate data to produce KPI metrics and dashboards for reporting on product quality, test progressions, risk analysis, and release readiness
  • The candidates should be able to analyze defects, release-related incidents, and customer feedback to identify trends and implement preventive actions and mitigations and perform sample testing of technology systems to verify compliance with customer requirements
  • The candidates should be able to ensure software quality assurance for all phases of larger and more complex development projects and identify gaps in testing and quality issues, proposing solutions to integrate into software and firmware architecture
  • The candidates should be able to analyze technology trends to determine their impact on achieving business goals and support the definition and maintenance of test methods, techniques, and calculations to improve QA services
  • The candidates should be able to responsible for working within a sub-functional area to ensure synergistic collaboration and achieve shared goals and provide technical and operational inputs to Business Governance and Operational Management Committees
  • The candidates should be able to responsible for supporting the development of technical capabilities of onshore or offshore teams specific to their sub-function and participate in Management and Operational Committees
  • The candidates should be able to responsible for handling moderate to high complexity and driving decision-making processes and priorities for a functional area and responsible for driving continuous improvement objectives within a functional area
  • The candidates should be able to lead a team of onshore or offshore testers effectively and cross-functional interaction and communication with delivery stakeholders and senior leaders
  • The candidates should be able to ensure quality control points and regulatory compliance, particularly with WCAG 2.0 and IT Internal Controls and accustomed to high cross-functional collaboration, particularly in large to complex projects
