Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have 4+ years of Communications experience in a deadline-driven, multi-stakeholder, fast-paced environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have business experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and project management skills
  • The candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to lead the planning and tactical execution of social impact events and programs, including budget and relationship management with external partners, as well as onsite event coordination
  • The candidates should be able to support stores and provide guidance on engaging with local communities through store donations and employee volunteerism
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with the team to execute Best Buy’s national social impact initiatives, including grants, donations, and community programs
  • The candidates should be able to work closely with key internal stakeholders, including merchants and retail operations, to execute major campaigns, donation requests, and events
  • The candidates should be able to identify opportunities to promote social impact initiatives through internal communications, PR, social media, and marketing channels to build awareness and drive employee engagement
  • The candidates should be able to connect team members and support sustainability progress across the organization to ensure efficiency, momentum, and success of cross-functional initiatives
  • The candidates should be able to act as a spokesperson across all media channels  and provide media relations support through story generation, writing, and editing media materials
