Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have successfully completed high school or equivalent
Experience: Candidates should have previous experience in warehouse, supply chain, logistics, supply, and/or airline industries, as it is an asset

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to use a computer and navigate through various software
  • The candidates should hold a valid driver’s license
  • The candidates should be available to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends
  • The candidates should meet Air Canada medical standards to qualify for the role, which includes a medical evaluation, a drug and alcohol test, and being free of any intoxicating substances
  • The candidates should be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations depending on the work location. Please refer to the Transport Canada site for more details
  • The candidates should be eligible to work in the country of interest at the time any offer of employment is made, and seeking any required work permits/visas or other authorizations is the sole responsibility of the candidates applying for this position
  • The candidates should be given preference if they are bilingual

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to perform the receiving, shipping, warehousing, and issuing functions, including the operation of motorized equipment and local delivery motor vehicles
  • The candidates should be able to inspect aircraft materials and non-aircraft materials, parts, and components to ensure they are duly certificated in accordance with Transport Canada and Company regulations
  • The candidates should be able to ensure that materials, parts, and components are in acceptable condition and meet Company standards
  • The candidates should be highly motivated individuals capable of handling the responsibilities mentioned above
