Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract), Driver’s validity licence check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
• The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to work in outdoors

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be client focus, dependable, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
• The candidates should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to drive sightseeing or tour vehicle
• The candidates should be able to co-ordinate recreation activities, transport or escort individuals or groups on tours of cities, waterways and industrial and other establishments
• The candidates should be able to describe points of interest, resolve itinerary and other problems
• The candidates should be able to develop and deliver commentaries, assist clients/guests with special needs
• The candidates should be able to co-ordinate activities with local tour guides or leaders of performance groups
• The candidates should be able to provide information on tipping customs, currency exchange rates, metric conversion and other details
• The candidates should be able to conduct guided tours of museums, gallery exhibitions and historical, heritage and other sites, answer inquiries and provide information
