- The candidates should be able to demonstrate experience in supervising graduate students and research fellows, contributing to significant impact in the field
- The candidates should be able to provide evidence of excellence in teaching and mentorship
- The candidates should be able to exhibit strong administrative, collaborative leadership, and interpersonal skills
- The candidates should be able to report to the Dean of the Temerty Faculty of Medicine and the Chair of the Department of Medicine
