Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of post-secondary education
Experience: Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of experience in a shipping, warehouse environment for manufacturing, preferably in a food processing facility

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work various shifts and extend working hours

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have excellent organizational and time management skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility and be comfortable using Microsoft Office tools

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to support the coordination of finished goods activities, including shipping, receiving, warehousing, order picking, cycle counts, and shunting and execute SAP EWM transactions related to receiving, picking, shipping, order fulfillment, and warehouse tasks
  • The candidates should be able to assign and monitor work within the department while ensuring a smooth workflow and resolving operational challenges and support order processing by creating pick sheets and picking labels for warehouse operations
  • The candidates should be able to assist in completing outbound shipments by generating documentation and coordinating with carriers and support cycle count processes to maintain accurate inventory and ensure proper product rotation based on customer allocation requirements
  • The candidates should be able to adhere to and enforce safe work practices, following all safety regulations and reporting incidents to the Occupational Health and Safety Manager and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation, and process procedures
  • The candidates should be able to support supervisors in leading an hourly workforce, addressing employee issues through counseling, investigations, or grievance meeting and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as FSQA, Materials, Human Resources, and Production
  • The candidates should be able to support the training of warehouse employees on processes, health, safety, and food safety policies, perform administrative duties, including payroll, scheduling, and shift reporting and assist with additional project work as assigned by management
