Experience: Candidates should have experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have strong technical knowledge in Microsoft’s Azure, including Azure Resource Manager (ARM) Templating, Azure DevOps Pipeline implementation of “infrastructure as code” deliveries, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and monitoring, hardening, policing, templating, and delivery of AWS and Azure Services
- The candidates should have strong technical knowledge in AWS, including multi-account AWS Organizations, AWS Control Tower, AWS CloudFormation implementation of “infrastructure as code,” and delivery of other AWS services
- The candidates should be proficient with Python, Bicep, JSON, and PowerShell scripting and experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and network and security-related solutions
- The candidates should have an understanding of Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies, terminologies, and ceremonies, be proficient with tools such as ServiceNow, GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence, and have expertise in Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD)
- The candidates should have technical knowledge of Windows Server, Linux/Unix, Middleware tier, Palo Alto Networks Firewalls, AWS Security Groups, Network ACLs, Direct Connect, Azure Firewalls, ExpressRoute and IPSec Tunnels, Azure Virtual WAN, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Network Security Groups (NSG), and other network and security components of AWS or Azure, AWS and Microsoft Azure certifications, as well as ITIL certifications
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide technical leadership throughout the design, build, configuration, implementation, and maintenance phases of major public and private Cloud technologies and automation tools in a multi-platform environment
- The candidates should be able to lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new and emerging products and techniques, while supporting business and technology proposals by estimating implementation costs and evaluating options
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with senior leaders across the company and provide informed recommendations to enhance Cloud-related solutions by balancing business needs, technology offerings, and security concerns
- The candidates should be able to proactively contribute to governance initiatives, including the development of company policies and compliance with audit requirements
- The candidates should be able to provide automation expertise within core DevOps toolchains and orchestration expertise in provisioning and public Cloud environments
- The candidates should be able to determine standards and roadmaps for hardware and software, define infrastructure strategies, and recommend Cloud-based standards for organization-wide initiatives based on their area of expertise
