Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Mapledale, NB
Shifts
: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Rural area, Remote location, Staff accommodation available

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Tractor, Manure spreader, Haying equipment, Forage equipment, and Farm truck

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding
  • The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to do calving, monitoring animal health, and maintain financial and production records
  • The candidates should be able to recognize and treat certain livestock health problems
  • The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • The candidates should be able to perform general farm duties
  • The candidates should be able to feed and tend animals, clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens, and milk cows
