Shifts
: Day, Night, Weekend, Shift, Early Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Rural area

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Automated systems experience: Bulk grain or feed handling – automated, Milking system (automated), Manure handling and storage, Feeding and watering system
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract)

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be a repetitive tasker
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
  • The candidates should be able to work at wet/damp, odours, and outdoors
  • The candidates should be able to distinguish between colours

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be organized, flexible, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to do calving, farm animal grooming, handling animals
  • The candidates should be able to feed inventory
  • The candidates should be able to do livestock branding, monitoring animal health, deed and tend animals
  • The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, milk cows, clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens, detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry
  • The candidates should be able to examine produce for quality and prepare for market, set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops
