Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience:Â Candidates should have meat wrapping experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have Food Safety Certification – Level 1 on their first day in the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to inspect and reassemble equipment sanitized the previous night
- The candidates should be able to rework the display case and rotate the product
- The candidates should be able to take large trays of styro-packaged meat from large wheeled racks and place individual packages into the automatic wrapping machine
- The candidates should be able to follow safety and security procedures while performing these tasks
- The candidates should be able to set the labeler according to product type and price, print labels, and apply them to the product
- The candidates should be able to put wrapped and labeled meat on large trays of a large wheeled cart and stock it in the display case by reaching through sliding windows or moving the rack to the floor
- The candidates should be able to operate a meat grinder, dump meat into the top of the machine, and check the fat content of each batch from the grinder
- The candidates should be able to follow proper department production procedures and standards for quality and consistency of the finished product
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize the area throughout the day, performing duties to comply with health code requirements such as sanitation standards and maintaining proper temperatures
- The candidates should be able to perform routine maintenance for machinery, equipment, and implements
- The candidates should be able to provide and ensure prompt and courteous member service
