Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed post-secondary, preferably in a related field
Experience: Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of relevant functional experience, with 1 or more years in a unionized environment

Other Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to work with regional retail to identify opportunities for network change. They should assist in the development of divisional priorities and ensure the accurate collection of background information and its timely submission to the Manager, Retail Network
• The candidates should be able to ensure that all retail network changes are integrated with other head office functions, including Communications, Labour Relations, Delivery Services, Mail Operations, Real Estate, and Training, to meet all requirements relating to people, labour contracts, financial matters, and movement of mail
• The candidates should be able to provide assistance to the region and head office Retail Network in the preparation of the supporting documentation for facility modifications or repairs
• The candidates should be able to provide guidance to the region in respect to the investment plan and process for Retail Network change
• The candidates should be able to coordinate the approval for the opening, relocation, modifications, or repairs to corporate facilities and dealerships
• The candidates should be able to provide input and direction on policies, procedures, and processes that manage and control the retail network change
• The candidates should be able to confer with Regional counterparts to develop and implement network change processes for a community
• The candidates should be able to act as a project manager by providing guidance and assistance in the implementation of corporate facility changes while managing projects within the developed budget and timelines according to corporate standards
• The candidates should be able to provide ongoing support and advice to other groups and functions on the process to obtain and implement change in both the corporate and private network
• The candidates should be able to provide guidance and assistance to the Manager, Retail Network on retail changes where they impact the collective agreement
• The candidates should be able to provide reports concerning changes to the network and the status of outlets for notification to all corporate functions, systems, and databases
• The candidates should be able to brief Regional counterparts and Head Office staff with respect to government and media issues related to Retail Network change
