Salary: $45.00 to $52.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Concord, ON
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence, Own transportation, Willing to travel, Travel expenses paid by employer, Public transportation is available
Work setting: Willing to relocate, Relocation costs covered by employer
Supervision: 5-10 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset Language: Mandarin, Cantonese
Education: Candidates should have completed college, CEGEP, or another non-university certificate or diploma program ranging from 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Area of Work experience: Purchasing, procurement and contracts
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to work effectively under pressure
  • The candidates should be capable of meeting tight deadlines and have a strong attention to detail
  • The candidates should also be prepared for a large caseload

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their work and show initiative in their roles
  • The candidates should possess good judgment, be highly organized, and be strong team players

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to plan, develop, and implement purchasing policies and procedures, oversee the evaluation of the cost and quality of goods or services, and manage contracts
  • The candidates should be able to review and process claims against suppliers, oversee the analysis of data and information, and advise senior management
  • The candidates should be able to plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
