Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should be registered or eligible to be registered as a Nurse Practitioner in good standing with the Yukon Registered Nurses Association
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the Nursing field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have critical thinking, relationship-building, and conflict management skills are crucial
- The candidates should possess the ability to provide leadership, coaching, and training to members of the team
- The candidates should go through, TB screening, Vulnerable Sector RCMP security clearance, Valid CPR Level C and should complete within one month of hire (WHMIS 2015)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have recently applied knowledge of nursing theory, practices, and techniques
- The candidates should have ability to operate effectively across multiple levels of care and within a transdisciplinary environment
- The candidates should have strong oral, written communication skills, and Organizational skills
- The candidates should have experience working with a diverse population is an important consideration
- The candidates should have knowledge of the Yukon Government’s Putting People First report
- The candidates should have willingness to engage in or improve upon existing French language skills and development
- The candidates should have current registration in good standing with the Yukon Registered Nurses Association
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to work closely with health and social care providers located within the Constellation Health Centre as well as those practicing in the broader community, including physicians, registered nurses, medical office assistants, and other social and allied health professionals
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate experience working in a health clinic setting, liaising with key partners to provide holistic, accessible, and equitable care for clients/patients while contributing to an environment that is inclusive, non-discriminatory, and physically, psychologically, and culturally safe
- The candidates should be able to contribute to an environment that is inclusive, non-discriminatory, and physically, psychologically, and culturally safe
Benefits:
- The candidates will get a signing bonus of $7500, a market adjustment allowance of up to $12,000, reimbursement of exam fees, and yearly reimbursement for licensing fees
