Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Computer and technology knowledge: Point of sale system 
Credentials: Serving It Right Certificate

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as required by the job and be physically fit to handle demanding tasks
• The candidates should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as needed
• The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods during work and be able to work under pressure when necessary

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should prioritize client focus in their interactions and tasks and possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication
• The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral communication abilities and exhibit flexibility in adapting to various circumstances and requirements
• The candidates should show initiative in addressing tasks and challenges proactively, maintain organization in their work methods and responsibilities
• The candidates should demonstrate reliability in fulfilling their duties and commitments and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to ensure they are of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
• The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns and provide customer service
• The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers’ checks, or room billings
• The candidates should be able to describe menu items including daily specials for customers and advise on menu selections
• The candidates should be able to enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
• The candidates should be able to balance cash and record sales, clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
• The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
• The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders, and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
• The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs.
