Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Residential

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and be able to work at heights.
• The candidates should be capable of working in confined spaces and be aware of and able to handle potentially dangerous situations
• The candidates should tolerate dusty environments
• The candidates should excel in a fast-paced environment and be physically capable of handling demanding tasks
• The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines and possess manual dexterity.
• The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks and be capable of handling heavy loads
• The candidates should be willing to work overtime as required and be able to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently, and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under the supervision of experienced construction personnel
• The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades according to construction requirements, and mix, pour, and spread construction materials accurately to meet project specifications
• The candidates should be able to level earth to fine grade specifications using appropriate tools and equipment, clean up chemical spills and other contaminants on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to maintain a clean and safe working environment
• The candidates should be able to tend to or feed machines and equipment used in construction to ensure smooth operation and productivity, and direct traffic safely at or near construction sites to ensure the safety of workers and the public
