Job Description:

Position: Administrative officer
No of Vacancies: 1
Salary: $28.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Surrey, BC
Shifts: Flexible Hours
Work setting: Consulting firm


Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, and social media

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be adaptable to a fast-paced work environment, capable of working effectively under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines
  • The candidates should demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and be able to manage a large workload efficiently

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and demonstrate flexibility in their approach to tasks
  • The candidates should be organized in their work and reliable in meeting job responsibilities
  • The candidates should be effective team players with the ability to multitask and exhibit strong time management skills

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply


  • The candidates should be able to review, evaluate, and implement new administrative procedures and establish work priorities, ensuring procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • The candidates should be able to carry out administrative activities of the establishment, coordinate and plan for office services, and assist in the preparation of the operating budget, maintaining inventory and budgetary controls
  • The candidates should be able to assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence, oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, and plan and control the budget and expenditures
  • The candidates should be able to perform data entry
