Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field
Experience: Candidates should have extensive experience providing office coordination, administration and support to senior level leadership

Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be individuals with significant experience interpreting, analysing, and communicating financial policy and procedures in the General Manual of Administration (GMA) in their application to cashflow reporting and variance reporting
- The candidates should have experience in supervising, directing, and establishing work priorities and schedules of a diverse team, demonstrating the ability to foster respectful workplaces as well as employee diversity, inclusion, development, and performance
- The candidates should exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrating the ability to innovate and implement process improvements
- The candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and political acumen, enabling them to manage highly sensitive and confidential information, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, building effective relationships at all levels
- The candidates should showcase strong written communication skills with experience in preparing, editing, and formatting correspondence and reports with accuracy and attention to detail
- The candidates should possess strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex content to a variety of audiences
- The candidates should have experience using SAP and possess knowledge of related processes around timekeeping, access requests, FTE management, and financial functions
- The candidates should be proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other custom computer software such as Adobe Pro, Smartsheet
- The candidates should be legally entitled to work in Canada
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform a wide variety of administrative, financial planning, and management functions for EX
- The candidates should be able to manage, lead, and direct the L&D administrative support team, the Government of Manitoba’s Learning Fund program (LF), finances, and resources for all administrative matters within the L&D branch
- The candidates should be able to guide acceptable conduct and ensure government protocol is followed
