Salary: $4,000 to $4,500 monthly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 48 hours per week

Level of expertise: Video editor
Budgetary responsibility: $100,001 – $500,000
Work setting: Staff accommodation available, staff accommodation provided, remote location, campground, hunting and fishing lodge or camp, willing to relocate, hotel, motel, resort
Supervision: More than 20 people
Transportation/travel information: Valid driver’s licence, own transportation, own vehicle, public transportation is available

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Word, Central reservation system (CRS), MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, Adobe Photoshop, social media 
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be non-smoking
  • The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment, work effectively under pressure, and demonstrate attention to detail
  • The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, including standing for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should prioritize client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills, demonstrating excellent oral and written communication
  • The candidates should exhibit flexibility, initiative, and be team players

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the organization, recruit and hire staff according to the organization’s needs and requirements, and supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient performance
  • The candidates should be able to conduct performance reviews to assess employee performance and provide feedback for improvement, negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies at competitive rates, and conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees
  • The candidates should be able to negotiate with clients for the use of facilities and services, perform front desk duties including greeting guests, answering inquiries, and handling reservations, and prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial stability
  • The candidates should be able to prepare marketing plans and implement marketing activities to attract customers and promote the organization, enforce policies and procedures to maintain discipline and adherence to standards, and address customers’ complaints or concerns promptly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction
  • The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs, providing support and assistance as required, develop and implement business plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives, and establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and coverage
  • The candidates should be able to conduct online marketing, e-commerce, and website promotions to reach a wider audience and increase sales
