Salary: $18.00 per hour for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent employment
Location: Etobicoke, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Overtime, Early Morning and Morning
Work site environment: Candidates should work in odours, cold/refrigerated and wet/damp place
Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks, stand for extended periods, pay attention to detail and work in fast-paced environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment
- The candidate should be reliable and also a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials, manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers and also check products and packaging for basic quality defects
- The candidate should be able to food safety/handling skills, measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties and also clean machines and immediate work areas
- The candidate should be able to feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers and also feed and unload processing machines
