Salary: $17.20 to $17.75 hourly (To be negotiated) for 24 to 48 hours bi-weekly

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 yearsÂ
Own tools/equipment: Uniform
Credentials:Â Smart Serve and Food Safety Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be capable of handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, be comfortable standing for extended periods, and be able to work under pressure
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in hot, noisy environments with odours
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be client-focused, have efficient interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication skills, and be flexible
- The candidates should take initiative, be organized, demonstrate reliability, and be team players
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, and address customers’ complaints or concerns
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items including daily specials for customers, advise on menu selections, and provide customer service
- The candidates should be able to balance cash and record sales, clear and clean tables, trays and chairs, and serve food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, organize buffets and banquets, and load buspans and trays
- The candidates should be able to carry and replace linen
