Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience writing, formatting, editing, and proofreading various types of documents, such as correspondence, emails, reports, and memos
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be legally authorized to work in Canada and read, write, and speak in both French and English
- The candidates should provide a satisfactory criminal record check and maintain that status and the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to manage and support critical IT infrastructure, primarily Linux and AIX server operating systems and IBM Power Systems virtualization technology
- The candidates should be able to advise, implement, monitor, and maintain critical IT infrastructure that supports government applications and databases, including PeopleSoft (HRMS) and the Financial Management System (FMS)
- The candidates should be able to oversee the full life cycle of Linux and AIX operating systems, ensuring servers are designed, provisioned, upgraded, patched, and maintained to optimal levels
- The candidates should be able to function as subject matter experts for Linux and AIX authentication solutions
- The candidates should be able to ensure daily oversight and support of IT infrastructure, maintaining system stability and performance
