Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a university degree or equivalent, preferably in Commerce, Economics, Finance or related
Experience: Candidates should have 3+ years’ experience working in the financial services industry

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate completion or enrolment in an advanced financial services designation such as CIM, CFP, or CFA
  • The candidates should have excellent knowledge of and a genuine interest in capital markets and financial instruments
  • The candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The candidates should have financial sales experience and possess an entrepreneurial mindset

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to partner with the District Vice President to establish a strategic business plan for the territory with defined sales targets
  • The candidates should be able to proactively contact financial advisors and planners to gain information and insight into their practices
  • The candidates should be able to provide value-added insight and ideas about capital markets, economics, and investment instruments
  • The candidates should be able to position RBC, PH&N, and BlueBay, and RBC iShares products and solutions to prospects and existing clients
  • The candidates should be able to advance the sales process with new prospects by booking presentations and appointments for the District Vice President
  • The candidates should be able to create and deliver presentations, proposals, and investment illustrations
