Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French and English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Social or Health Sciences
Experience: Candidates should have at least two years of operational and advanced administrative experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while accomplishing objectives within target timeframes

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have demonstrated experience in the preparation and presentation of reports
  • The candidates should have experience with project administration, including tracking deliverables, processing invoices, using Excel for budgets, and corresponding with external stakeholders
  • The candidates should possess excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and coordinate projects to meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The candidates should have experience working with diverse clients and stakeholders in a health care and settlement environment
  • The candidates should have knowledge of immigrant and refugee issues and the settlement sector in Canada
  • The candidates should have experience working with a Federal funder, such as Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
  • The candidates should have bilingualism (French and English) and proficiency in a second language

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to monitor operations outlined in the project plan to ensure deliverables in the contribution agreement with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) are met, on track, and on budget while proactively identifying and communicating risks and mitigation strategies
  • The candidates should be able to support financial reporting and ensure funds are allocated according to the IRCC funding agreement by tracking spending, providing budget support, forecasting, preparing claims, processing invoices, managing vendors, and performing other administrative tasks
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate with team members to prepare required reports for the funder
  • The candidates should be able to work collaboratively with the project team, other CAMH staff, and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes
  • The candidates should be able to assist the Assistant Manager with administrative tasks related to planning, executing, and monitoring operational activities
  • The candidates should be able to communicate with external partners as the main point of contact, including Subject Matter Experts and partnership requests
  • The candidates should be able to perform cross-functional duties and other responsibilities as assigned or requested
  • The candidates should be able to support a healthy workplace that values diversity, fosters teamwork, and complies with all applicable regulations and requirements
