Said Mohammedally-Lawyer based in Toronto, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Receptionist-secretary. Salary: $20.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 25 to 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time leading to full time
Location: 45 Overlea Blvd. Toronto, ON M4H 1C3
Shifts: Day, 10:00 to 15:00

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic scheduler, Word processing software, Electronic mail, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Windows

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication
  • The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral communication skills
  • The candidates should exhibit flexibility in adapting to changing work requirements
  • The candidates should be organized in managing tasks and responsibilities
  • The candidates should be reliable in consistently meeting work commitments

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, provide basic information to clients and the public, and obtain/process information required for services
  • The candidates should be able to operate a switchboard or telephone system, order office supplies, and record/relay information
  • The candidates should be able to schedule and confirm appointments, maintain work records and logs, and perform clerical duties such as filing, sorting, and distributing mail
  • The candidates should be able to answer the telephone, relay telephone calls and messages, arrange teleconferences, and perform data entry
