Supervision: 3-4 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be accustomed to performing repetitive tasks, experienced in handling heavy loads, and physically capable of handling demanding tasks
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed, showcasing their physical capability for demanding tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be reliable, demonstrating a strong commitment to consistent performance
- The candidates should be team players, fostering collaborative and cooperative working relationships
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders, following precise instructions
- The candidates should be capable of baking mixed dough and batters, ensuring the proper cooking and quality of the finished products
- The candidates should possess the ability to train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food, imparting knowledge and skills to team members
- The candidates should excel in preparing special orders, accommodating unique customer requests
- The candidates should demonstrate proficiency in supervising baking personnel and kitchen staff, overseeing their performance and adherence to procedures
- The candidates should showcase their skills in frosting and decorating cakes and baked goods, enhancing the visual appeal of the products
- The candidates should be adept at drawing up production schedules, planning and organizing baking activities efficiently
- The candidates should ensure that the quality of products meets established standards, maintaining consistency in taste and appearance
- The candidates should regularly inspect kitchen and food service areas, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with safety standards
- The candidates should efficiently organize and maintain inventory, managing stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed
