Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French and English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a Grade 12 education
Experience: Candidates should have six months of relevant experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have demonstrated the ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment
  • The candidates should have the ability to work with individuals of diverse ethno-racial and cultural backgrounds

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have excellent computer skills with proficiency in word processing (Word), spreadsheets (Excel and Access), database, and statistical programs
  • The candidates should have proficient correspondence skills and respect for confidential information and knowledge of privacy legislation
  • The candidates should have excellent organizational and communication skills and bilingualism (French and English) and proficiency in a second language

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to coordinate staffing resources using ANSOS based on existing models of care
  • The candidates should be able to facilitate and ensure smooth operations of in-patient units by managing staff assignments in consultation with the After Hours Site Administrator
  • The candidates should be able to complete various office administrative functions, including faxing, photocopying, filing, and document preparation
  • The candidates should be able to communicate effectively with unit staff, After Hours Site Administrators, partners, and key stakeholders both in person and over the phone
  • The candidates should be able to provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact for the unit
  • The candidates should be able to maintain a strong knowledge of unit operations and be resourceful in addressing staffing and administrative
  • The candidates should be able to understand and adhere to scheduling systems and regulations based on union contracts
  • The candidates should be able to engage in self-reflection and continuous improvement to enhance their role and contributions
  • The candidates should be able to support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity and encourages teamwork and comply with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements
