Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accustomed to a fast-paced environment, excelling in situations that demand quick and efficient work, and adept at working under pressure, maintaining focus and productivity in challenging situations
  • The candidates should be physically fit to manage the demands of a physically demanding work environment and capable of handling repetitive tasks with precision and consistency

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to set up and dismantle equipment, clean and maintain equipment, and prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
  • The candidates should be able to apply and adjust casts, splints, and bandages, compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products, and record vital signs
  • The candidates should be able to record information about donors, clean and dress wounds, and operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices
  • The candidates should be able to remove casts, sutures, and pins, collect statistics, and maintain supplies and inventory of equipment
  • The candidates should be able to perform general clerical duties, prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas, manage routine office functions including reception, telephone, and booking appointments, and order supplies and equipment
  • The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory, schedule and confirm appointments, perform various administrative functions, and administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures, record results, and monitor, check, and calibrate auditory equipment
  • The candidates should be able to assist during the assessment of patients, carry out treatment programs, and develop materials for use with patients, and under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities
  • The candidates should be able to take patients’ general medical and ophthalmic history
