ICON Creative Studio Inc. based in Vancouver, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Colourist-Cartoons. ICON Creative Studio Inc. is known as the Canada’s largest independently owned CG Animation Studio, located in the historic Gastown district of Vancouver, BC Canada, housing over 800 talented creatives ranging from design, storyboarding, modeling, rigging, animation, shot finaling, lighting, visual effects and compositing artists alongside creative and management teams. We are known for our outstanding quality, efficiency and timely deliveries. We are focused entirely around ‘putting it all up on screen’. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The position of Colourist-Cartoons is approved by LMIA.

Salary: $90,000 to $130,000 per year for 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need an experience of 2-3 years
Computer and Technology Knowledge: Autodesk 3ds Max, Houdini, MARI, NUKE, Unity3D, JavaScript
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
- The candidate should be able to pay attention to detail and have the ability to distinguish between colors
- The candidate should be able to work with tight deadlines and be able to sit for longer periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be a team player and be able to work with being focused on the client
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to adapt existing illustrations also consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations in order to meet their communications needs
- The candidate should be able to produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations also coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials
- The candidate should be able to consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials also develop the graphic elements that meet the clients’ objectives
