Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have three years of relevant experience that demonstrates superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate strong customer service and problem-solving abilities and be available to travel for short periods
- The candidates should take initiative and demonstrate creativity as well as good judgment and be active and highly skilled on multiple digital and social media platforms

- The candidates should demonstrate knowledge of local CBC programming and knowledge of languages such as Mandarin, Tagalog, Arabic, Hindi, Punjabi, Spanish, or any Indigenous languages
- The candidates should possess a post-secondary certificate, diploma, or university degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to implement integrated marketing plans to promote programming and the CBC brand across social, digital, radio, and TV platforms
- The candidates should be able to organize and execute internal and external events, both virtually and in person
- The candidates should be able to develop and manage fan engagement initiatives, brand activations, and contesting to foster audience relationships
- The candidates should be able to create and implement social media strategies for established and emerging platforms to deepen community connections and amplify diverse voices
- The candidates should be able to monitor and execute marketing campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and optimize content for better engagement
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and execute creative campaigns that attract target audiences
- The candidates should be able to research, review, and source suppliers for CBC-branded promotional materials
- The candidates should be able to research and gather information for special projects, new initiatives, and administrative matters and carry out other related tasks
