Canadian Tire Squamish based in Squamish, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Customer service supervisor – retail. Canadian Tire Squamish features a large selection of automotive parts and accessories, outdoor gear, home appliances, and tools, among other products. We also offer installation services for certain products, such as automotive tires and batteries. We are known for our commitment to customer service and providing a pleasant shopping experience. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $17.00 to $21.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 40 hours per week

Work setting: Retail business
Supervision: 5-10 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be organized and reliable
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assign sales workers to duties
  • The candidates should be able to authorize payments by cheque and order merchandise
  • The candidates should be able to authorize return of merchandise
  • The candidates should be able to establish work schedules and sell merchandise
  • The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory
