Salary: $720 to $730 bi-weekly (To be negotiated) for 48 to 50 hours bi-weekly
Employment Type: Casual employment Part time
Location: Regina, SK
Shifts: On Call, Early Morning, Morning
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Vulnerable sector check

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should have good judgement and be reliable
• The candidate should be creative and honest
• The candidate should have the ability to multitask

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assess the children’s development to prepare a learning plan tailored to their needs and synthesize the overall situation of the children to communicate information to parents and assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
• The candidates should be able to assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties and maintain daycare equipment and prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
• The candidates should be able to bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers and guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits and plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
• The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children and assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children and encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
• The candidates should be able to engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts and lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest and participate in storytelling
