Own tools/equipment: Candidates should have steel-toed safety boots
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates need experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment, work overtime, maintain tight deadlines and also handle heavy loads
- The candidate should be physically strong
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work with being focused on the client, in a flexible environment and also in an organized way
- The candidate should be reliable, someone who can judge and also a team player
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidate should have experience of transport/travel like local, regional and also provincial/territorial
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, professionalism in customer service and also receive and relay information to central dispatch
- The candidate should be able to transport and handle dangerous goods and also load and unload goods
- The candidate should be able to use maps and other trip planning aids, record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems and also perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
