Salary: $22.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, On Call, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Urban area and Retail business
Supervision: 3-4 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Security and safety: Basic security clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be adept at working in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be capable of working under pressure
  • The candidates should be skilled in meeting tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be experienced in handling heavy loads
  • The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assign sales workers to duties, hire, and train staff or arrange for their training
  • The candidates should be able to authorize payments by cheque and order merchandise
  • The candidates should be able to authorize the return of merchandise and establish work schedules
  • The candidates should be able to sell merchandise and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory, as well as resolve problems such as customer complaints and supply shortages
  • The candidates should be able to supervise and coordinate the activities of workers
