Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have minimum of four years of previous relevant experience

  • The candidate should have knowledge of and experience with corporate engagement best practices in a post-secondary environment
  • The candidate should possess knowledge of the ever-changing funding climate regarding corporate partnerships, sponsorships, and philanthropic gifts
  • The candidate should demonstrate a track record and experience in university collaboration and revenue generation
  • The candidate should have knowledge of the university’s strategic priorities, goals, policies, and procedures
  • The candidate should possess knowledge of communications, public relations, marketing, and social media processes
  • The candidate should demonstrate a track record of success in the higher education sector related to corporate engagement, including Advancement, Research, and co-operative education
  • The candidate should have knowledge of office productivity software and databases, internet browsers and search engines, discipline-specific software, enterprise software, and technology devices
  • The candidate should possess knowledge of cultural competency and diversity in a business context

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to report to the Director of Major Gifts and Strategic Partnerships and work closely with the Vice-President, Research and International, while receiving guidance from the Senior Corporate Relations Officer
  • The candidates should be able to engage with corporate entities to establish Holistic Integrated Partnerships and secure sponsorships at the major gifts level
  • The candidates should be able to support various high-priority projects and critical special initiatives across the campus through corporate engagement
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to align corporate partnerships with identified strategic priorities
  • The candidates should be able to contribute to the development and execution of strategies aimed at enhancing corporate relations and fostering philanthropic support
  • The candidates should be able to assist in the cultivation, stewardship, and ongoing management of corporate relationships to maximize engagement and philanthropic impact
  • The candidates should be able to ensure compliance with organizational policies and guidelines while pursuing corporate partnerships and sponsorships
  • The candidates should be able to participate in planning and executing activities that enhance the institution’s visibility and reputation among corporate partners and sponsors
