Transportation information: Vehicle supplied by employer, Valid driver’s licence
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Uniform
Security and safety: Bondable, Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract), Drug test
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines with attention to detail
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to handle weight, more than 45 kg (100 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be client focus, dependable, reliable, judgmental, flexible, should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
- The candidates should be able to do professionalism in customer service, receive and relay information to central dispatch, prepare, package and restock goods
- The candidates should be able to transport and handle dangerous goods, load and unload goods, use maps and other trip planning aids
- The candidates should be able to record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems, pay and receive payments for goods
- The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
