Work setting: In shop, On-site customer service, Various locations, Relocation costs not covered by employer, Willing to relocate, Service, and Urban area

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Data collection equipment, Scales, Mechanical, and Hydraulic system
Equipment and machinery experience: Meters and Hand tools
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, Networks, and Programmable logic controller (PLC)
Area of work experience:  Repair and Instrumentation 
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Credit check, and Driving record check (abstract)

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, possess manual dexterity, and have hand-eye coordination
  • The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines, work under pressure, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a client focus, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • The candidates should be flexible, organized, and a team player
  • The candidates should uphold values and ethics and be reliable

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to install, maintain, and repair electronic equipment, inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies, and diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults
  • The candidates should be able to adjust, align, replace, or repair electronic equipment and assemblies, complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports, and prepare cost estimates
  • The candidates should be able to read blueprints and drawings, test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning, and repair or replace defective or worn parts and components
  • The candidates should be able to inspect products to determine the requirements for repair, calibrate products using hand tools, and provide customer service
