Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks and have attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, leading activities such as storytelling, singing songs, and organizing local outings
  • The candidates should be able to support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote children’s development, assisting in record-keeping
  • The candidates should be able to engage children in various activities, including storytelling, singing songs, and crafting, while fostering creativity through art, play, music, and physical activity
  • The candidates should be able to guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toileting habits, maintaining daycare equipment, and assisting with housekeeping and cooking
  • The candidates should be able to prepare snacks, arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods, and observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems, preparing necessary reports
  • The candidates should be able to submit written observations on children to supervisors, discussing progress and issues at staff meetings to ensure compliance with licensing regulations
  • The candidates should be able to assess children’s abilities, interests, and needs, discussing progress and challenges with parents and staff members
  • The candidates should be able to plan and maintain a safe environment for children’s health, security, and well-being, organizing activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours
