Days of Work: This position works a 5 day work week, with 1 day off in each 3 week cycle

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a completed High School diploma
Experience: Candidates should have at least 1 year of elections or related experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work effectively with others in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have equivalency GED demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven customer focus
- The candidates should possess strong reading and comprehension abilities, along with basic mathematics skills, attention to detail, and organizational capabilities
- The candidates should have intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to review Election Worker applications online and shortlist suitable candidates
- The candidates should be able to interview and determine the placement of successful candidates using prepared interview questions, hiring procedures, and phone scripts
- The candidates should be able to schedule election worker training sessions, update databases with information received from the public or voting facilities
- The candidates should be able to respond to election worker inquiries received by phone and email, verify mail-in ballot applications to ensure they meet established eligibility criteria
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with project leads to print, assemble, and distribute mail-in ballot packages, process and verify returned mail-in ballot packages for completeness
- The candidates should be able to perform data entry of mail-in ballot information into the election management system
- The candidates should be able to provide in-person, telephone, and email customer service support for mail-in ballot voters
- The candidates should be able to respond to questions from Election Workers and the public using prepared scripts
- The candidates should be able to direct calls appropriately to internal staff members, monitor, respond to, create, and triage call centre tickets and 311 service requests
