Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Punjabi
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Equipment and machinery experience: Farm truck, Fertilizer applicator, Fruit harvester, Lift truck, Planting equipment, Tractor

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
• The candidates should be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, and large workload
• The candidates should be able to do fruit and vegetable combination farming, tree and orchard fruit

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to clean, grade, and deleaf crops
• The candidates should be able to hand-harvest vegetables, weed and mix fertilizer for crops
• The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, irrigate, and harvest crops
• The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring quality control and production records are maintained
• The candidates should be able to provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting, and supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
• The candidates should be able to maintain work records, logs, and ensure the overall health and productivity of crops
