Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience driving a truck/trailer unit
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a valid Class 1A Driver’s License with a favorable Driver’s Abstract and strong communication skills, both oral and written
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide quality customer service, deliver loads of feed as assigned by the dispatcher
- The candidates should be able to perform daily pre-trip and weekly truck/trailer inspections
- The candidates should be able to report and discuss truck/trailer maintenance concerns with the supervisor, maintain a logbook
- The candidates should be able to keep the tractor/trailer unit clean and well-organized, both inside and out, regardless of inclement weather conditions and the demand for on-time feed delivery
- The candidates should be able to perform all paperwork according to business requirements and work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays
- The candidates should be able to work in extreme temperatures ranging from +40 to -40 degrees Celsius
