Air North, Yukon’s Airline is a carrier based in Whitehorse, providing scheduled passenger, cargo, and charter services across Yukon and major cities. It operates a fleet of Boeing 737 jets and ATR 42 turboprops, connecting remote communities and urban centers. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Shift: 35-40 hours per week
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a minimum of Grade 12 education
Experience: Candidates should have previous dispatch experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust built with passengers, partners, and communities
- The candidates should have enthusiasm for contributing to the organization’s mission, whether through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support, be legally entitled to work in Canada
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be at least 21 years of age as per Transport Canada regulations, successfully pass initial and recurrent Transport Canada dispatcher competency checks
- The candidates should be able to obtain a Radio Certification and Security Clearance, an FAA Dispatcher License
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform operational flight watch to monitor and track ongoing flights
- The candidates should be able to communicate with flight crews and provide support to related departments
- The candidates should be able to generate aircraft load plans to ensure proper distribution of weight
- The candidates should be able to perform weight and balance calculations to maintain aircraft stability and compliance with regulations
