Salary: $15.25 hourly for 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate meticulous attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong client focus, demonstrating dependability in their tasks and possessing efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should exhibit excellent oral and written communication, showcasing flexibility in their approach to tasks and exercising sound judgment in their responsibilities
  • The candidates should be highly organized, demonstrating reliability in their commitments and being effective team players

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to register arriving guests, assign rooms, and take, cancel, and change room reservations
  • The candidates should be able to provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as general information about points of interest in the area
  • The candidates should be able to investigate and resolve complaints and claims, process guests’ departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
  • The candidates should be able to maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, follow emergency and safety procedures, and perform clerical duties (i.e., faxing, filing, photocopying)
  • The candidates should be able to answer the telephone, relay telephone calls and messages, and provide customer service
