We are located at a prime location through which our clients can have access to local restaurants and shopping, and visit some of Nova Scotia’s most prominent locales, including the Scotiabank Centre and The Discovery Centre. With spacious rooms we also provide complimentary services such as high-speed Wi-Fi, flat-panel 55″ TVs and mini-refrigerators. Jump-start morning with Starbucks, beverages and breakfast at The Bistro, our on-site restaurant. With this, our guests also get to enjoy the fireplace in the evening and also dinner and cocktails. Our clients also get to enjoy a fitness centre, heated indoor pool with 150ft water slide and meeting rooms. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The vacancies to full time or permanent employment. The candidate has to work in Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Early Morning and Morning shifts.

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualification such as a secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need an experience of 7 months to 1 year
Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Word processing software, Spreadsheet, Multi-line switchboard, Internet, Database software, Central reservation system (CRS), Computerized bookkeeping system
Security and Safety: Criminal record check

  • The candidate should be able to provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • The candidate should be able to process group arrivals and departures
  • The candidate should be able to process guests’ departures, calculate charges and receive payments
  • The candidate should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • The candidate should be able to investigate and resolve complaints and claims
  • The candidate should be able to exchange foreign currency
  • The candidate should be able to balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • The candidate should be able to answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • The candidate should be able to perform clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
  • The candidate should be able to provide general information about points of interest in the area
  • The candidate should be able to follow emergency and safety procedures
  • The candidate should be able to handle wake-up calls
  • The candidate should be able to provide customer service
