Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of a Bachelor of Science or College Diploma in Food Safety and Science
Experience: Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of experience in a technical food manufacturing role

Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a strong understanding of Pre-requisite Programs, HACCP, CCPs, and GMPs related to the food industry
- The candidates should have intermediate to exceptional MS Office skills and strong interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have strong oral and written communication skills and excellent organization and planning skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide leadership and direction to Operators on the production line, focusing on blending, formulation, critical control points (CCPs), and documentation
- The candidates should be able to guide the implementation of product standard operating procedures (SOPs) while ensuring traceability and proper documentation of lot codes and batches in SAP
- The candidates should be able to conduct CCP and Prerequisite Program training, including verification of training effectiveness and corrective action implementation and address deviations from Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) procedures through coaching and re-training
- The candidates should be able to support investigations of customer and consumer complaints, document findings, and draft responses and write, revise, and maintain FSQA SOPs, including product SOPs and electronic directories
- The candidates should be able to deliver Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training and CCP presentations as part of new hire orientation programs and conduct Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) reassessments, monitoring, and verification to ensure regulatory compliance
- The candidates should be able to investigate, document, and implement corrective actions for deviations related to foreign material and quality critical non-conformances, Â maintain internal and SAP-based hold and release databases
- The candidates should be able to analyze Critical to Quality (CTQ) data in SAP, track trends, and develop corrective actions for deviations and support audit preparation and execution, including document review, on-site inspection, and training
- The candidates should be able to collect samples, conduct raw material sensory assessments, and communicate findings to Operations and perform SAP functions related to hold, release programs, inspection lot oversight, and usage decisions
- The candidates should be able to assist hourly Production Operators in executing FSQA procedures effectively and participate in periodic reviews, town hall meetings, and other communication sessions
- The candidates should be able to support Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) inspectors with CVS tasks and other regulatory requirements and contribute to Six Sigma projects to improve quality and operational efficiency
